• Ants are social insects and belong to the same family as Bees and wasps – Hymenoptera family. These insects will communicate via pheromones, these pheromones act as signposts to where food sources can be located. When a worker ant finds a foods source this will be quickly communicated via pheromones to the nest. These nests can contain thousands of Ants and very quickly an infestation can develop. To help prevent this ensure all worktops and floors are cleared of food and drink residue.
